Mariachi Del Sol – Is Canada’s most outstanding Mexican Music Ensemble. The band was founded in 1992 by a mixture of Mexican and Canadian musicians to blend the traditional styling with the classical panache, from soft romantic ballads to the lively ranchero songs.
The core musicians of Mariachi Del Sol (El Mariachi Canadiense) are: Founder, Octavio Carrillo, Johnny Guzman, Eduardo Rincon, Miguelito Valdes, Antonio Bernal, Cameron Wilson, Robert Clark, Jamie Croil, Mark Ferris and Sandra Fiddes. Many other Mexican and Canadian colleagues have worked with the band over the years and continue to do so. It is also their contributions that have helped this ensemble evolve into what it is today.
