Chef/owner Mike Ponluang has distinguished his eatery, by creating delicious and authentic Thai food created with French cooking techniques. His charming restaurant, features mouthwatering Thai dishes, such as Pad Thai (with lobster, chicken, beef, shrimp, or vegetables), Japanese Kobe Beef with stir-fried  bok choy; lobster fried rice; organic chicken with peanut sauce; and seared Diver scallops served with Korobuta pork belly. Additionally, Coco Asian Bistro offers a wonderful array of fresh sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls. Favorite sushi and sashimi include salmon, yellowtail, toro, eel, squid, sweet shrimp, octopus, uni (sea urchin), and conch. There are over twenty-five splendid specialty rolls, as well. Favorite rolls include the Lobster Roll (filled with six ounces of lobster tail tempura, asparagus, avocado, and cucumber); Mike’s Roll (tuna, spinach, asparagus, avocado, tempura flakes, cucumber, and Kampyo with sweet black sticky rice topped with sweet chili sauce); Mama Roll (tuna, shrimp tempura, tempura flakes, imitation crab, masago, cream cheese, and scallions, topped with strawberries, avocado, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and tempura flakes); and the Spider Man Roll (fried soft shell crab, cream cheese, and spinach, topped with seared tuna, masago, scallions, and eel sauce). There are also plenty of stellar small plates, which can be ordered as appetizers or combined for an inventive meal.
