Highly regarded La Jolla gum disease specialist, Gary Sigafoos, D.D.S., is a periodontist with the experience to offer the most effective periodontal treatment options.  Depending on the severity of the condition, we may be able to help with non-surgical treatment options such as scaling and root planing, which means a deep cleaning of the pockets with the comfot of local anesthetic. 

In more advanced cases, we may recommend procedures to regenerate bone in order to reduce pocket depths and the inflammation, to help control the bone loss and recession.
