Zumba is a Latin based fitness workout.  Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. The choreography incorporates cha-cha, swing, hip-hop, reggeaton, salsa, 2 step, mambo, merengue, soca, samba,and more.  Lunges and squats are also included, it's a total body fitness workout.,

Zumba Gold provides low impact moves for active older adults. It’s an easy to follow program that lets you groove to the beat at your own speed.

Zumba Kids and Kids Jr. features age-appropriate music and moves that get kids movin’ to the beat. It’s all about feeling fearless on the dance floor, reinforcing the idea that it’s okay to just be yourself and dance like no one’s watching!

Zumba is adaptable to almost anyone. I have a class where I teach our wonderful US Veterans at the VA nursing home.  Most of these awesome men and women are still heroes in wheelchairs dancing to the fun music of Zumba.
