Rob is the leading expert in ethical business practice resulting in sustained bottom line performance. Rob elevates humanity: profitability: and sustainability to the balance sheet where people: customers: and bottom-line are in harmony. A highly accomplished Business Consultant/Leadership Coach/Workshop Facilitator/Keynote Speaker and Author, Rob’s career spans a 40 year period, someone venerated for the possession of wisdom, judgment and experience.
Rob elicits cultural change from a leadership perspective that places ethical behaviour in the metrics. Rob is amazed at the number of businesses that are missing out by not having ethical standards at the core of their business – where the numbers in isolation are the drivers of the business and not the humanity of the business. His unique methodology makes running a business exciting again. As a musician, Rob uses those aspects of rhythm and harmony in music and applies them to the business world. As a thought leader, Rob challenges his clients to think beyond the numbers and embrace all aspects of business, the customers, products/services, shareholders and especially the community. BUSINESS BEYOND THE BOTTOM LINE
His multi decade corporate experience brings the benefits of discipline, structure, communication and “Big picture thinking” to any business. His many years’ experience as a business owner allows for a "hands-on" approach to business challenges - developing solutions and grasping opportunities that are appropriate and manageable – seeking to capitalise on the talent and skill of the enterprise as a whole. Most importantly Rob believes in the “team” approach to business – similar to the contribution and recognition that Orchestra members gain from a successful performance.
Rob values community service and philanthropy and as such has been active in business and community forums across the region. He has held Board positions with: Private Education Associations, Licensed Clubs, and Government funded organisations supporting homeless youth, Chambers of Commerce and Local Government Strategy teams. As a volunteer member of the Rural Fire Service, Rob’s contribution is valued not only an active firefighter in hazard reduction and community engagement, but also his management and organisation skills have led the brigade to understand and utilise the background skills of the members in a more effective way.
Rob’s experience, connections, personal perspectives and applied knowledge mean that he is actively sought after as a contributor in writing funding applications, keynote speaker, advisor to Boards and Senior Management.
