From approximately the middle of August, driving through the Wimmera will be a sight to always remember.

Some of the fields you will pass will be bright yellow as far as the eye can see. At this time of the year, for several months, the canola fields are in full bloom and the beauty of this spectacular view will be imprinted in your memory forever. The Wimmera is well known for producing lentils, canola, barley, wheat and other crops.

Many of these crops are sold on the international market as well as locally.

Situated in this farming district is the picturesque town of Rupanyup. Our family business is located in this town. We have a mixed business and you and your family can dine in our cafe, enjoying a well deserved break, or if your prefer, you can purchase take away food, drinks, ice creams, slices and cakes and sit in the sunshine and enjoy the scenery of our town. Many of the slices and cakes we serve are made on the premises and we pride ourselves on using the best ingredients that are available to us.

You may simply wish to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea together with a cake or slice.

The choice is yours. We have a selection of foods available and one of our best sellers are our hamburgers.

Whilst waiting for your food to be cooked, you can browse through our gift selection. One of our unique gifts is a sea dragon crafted in Tasmania and the craft person Carole has applied for the world patent on this particular design & process. Another gift is a mushroom with one of the ingredients being alpaca fleece from Carole's alpaca farm. We have a selection of hand made scarves that are made in Rupanyup and a part of the proceeds go to the Rupanyup men's and women's sheds. We take pride in our community activities and fund raising efforts as it is important to us to help the community we live in.

Small communities  throughout Australia work hard to keep their towns alive.

Another part of our business is the hiring of our meeting room where small groups of people

can meet and catering is available.
