Established in 2003 by owner/operators Chris and Waan Brady, Thai Chada has proven to be a favourite local haunt in the Grange. With very broad dine-in and take-away menus from which to choose, encompassing old favourites like Green Curry and Pad Thai as well as lesser known dishes like Hung Lae, a slow cooked pork curry from Chiang Mai, Thai Chada caters to almost any taste. Dishes are cooked to order, using only the freshest quality herbs, spices, vegetables, and meats. Gluten free and vegan diets are also easily prepared upon request.
At lunch (Friday to Sunday) the restaurant operates as a noodle bar, offering a comprehensive selection of dry noodle, noodle soup, and rice dishes. Presenting a different variety of Thai fare, dishes like street-style basil stir-fry topped with a fried egg, or duck egg noodle soup may be more to your liking.
Thai Chada is a BYO restaurant which offers both indoor and outdoor seating and provides outdoor heaters during the colder months of the year. Due to its popularity, it is always advisable to book ahead if wishing to dine-in. Group bookings and catering can also be arranged. Comprehensive on-site and street parking is available.
