Firstly our staff has the qualifications to understand the complete building industry. When our design consultants quote you for your project, whether it is a pergola, carport, alfresco area, extension or major renovation, your existing home is taken into consideration as well. The type of frame, eaves, roof, floor, location of windows and doors, external lights and zoning all have an impact on the final product and Opal has the experience to understand this.
Secondly, Opal has the authority to contract works which include other trades, including electrical, plumbing, concreting etc.

Opal Building Services is a market leader in ensuring we are up to date with council and statutory building requirements. With the introduction of the new housing code some building works can seem confusing, we can look after all the council requirements including filling in lodgement forms, bushfire assessments and Sydney Water approval. Our staff is constantly keeping updated on all changes to ensure you are being supplied with the correct information.
Opal has a strong team of qualified tradespersons who have many years experience. Using the vast HIA network of members, Opal is able to offer a national fleet of builders and tradespersons to carry out a diversified scope of all building needs and requirements.
Compliant Building Company
Opal understands that not all builders take pride in their history or reputation. We are certainly not one of these builders. Opal supplies a contract written in plain English, with no hidden extras, and a full disclosure on PC items, provisional sums, material selection and progress payments, as well as a complete scope of works to ensure you understand each stage your project will pass through. Opal has all the required insurances including Public Liability and Home Owners warranty Insurance. Opal will not jeopardise its licence by providing an inferior product or workmanship and understand that there is no better recommendation than word of mouth referrals.
Opal Building Services is a member of the HIA (Housing Industry Association) and an authorised Stratco Outback Dealer. We are also a major supplier & builder of the Stratco Outback product range This ensures we are kept up to date on all building regulations, Australian Standards, National Construction Code of Australia and also supplies and additional warranty to our customers who order a Stratco Outback product.
