Gentile visitatore, le forniamo alcuni cenni sul curriculum vitae del locale.
Il nome del ristorante è legato ad eventi del passato; l'edificio nella seconda guerra mondiale fungeva da avamposto bellico tedesco che i cittadini del luogo denominavano: "Baracca"

Lo stabile, al termine del conflitto, venne adattato in un'osteria e solo nel 1960 fu acquistato dalla famiglia Nicolis che dapprima ne fece una trattoria dalla cucina tipica veronese e in seguito nel 1970, un ristorante dalle specialità esclusivamente marinare.

History

Dear Guest, We would like to inform you about the history of the restaurant. The establishment served as an outpost for the German army during World War II.
The building was named "  Baracca " which mean "cabin" by the locals.

After the war it became an Inn/Osteria until the 1960's when it was purchased by the Nicolis Family who converted it into a trattoria serving typical dishes from the Verona area. In the early 1970's Baracca evolved into a fine dining seafood restaurant. Nicolis Family are still the proud owners of this establishment which has withstood the passing of time. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable dining experience as our guest.
